Our all new Piper Pawnee rc airplane is new from Texas RC Planes. Plane features Monokote covering and is a excellent choice for sport and scale pilots to move up to nice larger planes without breaking the bank. Large wing area makes it easy to fly.
Large hatch in front of canopy makes easy access to radio equipment. Heavy duty landing gear.

Construction of fuselage is all laser cut lite-ply with areas cut out to lighten airplane but maintain strength. motor box is 4 3/4" wide and 3 3/4 high and extends 3 inches from firewall. Motor box not only is epoxy-ed to the firewall but extends 8 more inches into the fuselage and connects to the 1 st. former. Servo tray is built into the fuselage. Flat bottom and flat sides but has a nice even roll around the top. Canopy screws to the fuselage. Large 9" by 13" hatch in front of canopy lets you service batteries, fuel tank and servos. Large alum. landing gear (8" wide & 6" tall) attaches with 4 screws. Landing gear block is 8 1/2" wide an 2 1/2"deep and 1/4" thick. It looks very strong but if you have trouble landing (like i do) now is the time to beef it up wile building. 4 3/4" rubber tires are supplied with this ARF airplane (not foam)
Fiberglass cowl is 8 3/4 by 8 3/4 and 8" deep. Fuselage has pre-installed blind nuts for easy cowl installation.
Horizontal stab. is 26" by 11" and oval shaped including elevator halves. Elevators have counterbalance ends and join to the stab. with nylon hinges with metal pins. Horizontal stab does not have airfoil design but are not totally flat. They are thick at the front and taper thin to the rear. Rudder is built the same way and has the counterbalanced design. Vertical stab. is 8 1/2" tall from top of fuselage ( including counterbalance part of rudder). Rudder is 14 " tall and 4 1/4" at the widest point and had the thick in front and thin at the rear design. Horizontal and vertical stabs. are epoxy-ed to the fuselage and are not removable.
For the servo that functions the rudder; Single servo mounts inside the fuselage and connects to the rudder with 2 wire cables for a pull-pull type system.
Servos for the elevator halves are located on each side of the fuselage under the horizontal stab. (requires 2)
Wings are removable and attach to the fuselage with removable laminated plywood joiners, pre-cut into a dihedral shape. To install wing at the airfield - Slide formers into fuselage ; slide wing over formers; attach 4 wing nuts inside fuselage; attach the wing support struts with 3 screws on each side and you are done. Wing has flaps and 23 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch ailerons. The aileron and flap servos mount in the bottom side of the wing.
4 3/4" rubber wheels makes it great for grass strips.
2 piece wings for easy transport.
Comes with complete hardware kit except motor mount.

I just sent you about 25 pictures of the Pawnee..like we talked about.
I did beef up the landing gear with a larger plate using nylon bolts 4x 1/4 x 20 oops not 440 Also the power plant is a OS 1.60 fx with a bison muffler on it.
And also used 4 flying wires on the tail feathers...I thought with the 1.60 it should hold together a little better ?????
