Construction of fuselage is all laser cut lite-ply with areas cut out to lighten airplane but maintain strength. motor box is 6" wide and 5 high and extends 2 inches from firewall. Motor box not only is epoxy to the firewall but extends 8 more inches into the fuselage and connects to the 1 st. former. Servo tray is built into the fuselage. Flat bottom and flat sides but has a nice even roll around the top. Canopy screws to the fuselage. Large 15" by 10" hatch in front of canopy lets you service batteries, fuel tank and servos. Large alum. landing gear (24" wide & 8" tall) attaches with 4 screws. 4 3/4" rubber tires are supplied with this ARF airplane (not foam)
Fiberglass cowl is 8 3/4 by 8 3/4 and 8" deep. Fuselage has pre-installed blind nuts for cowl installation.
Horizontal stab. is 30" by 12" and oval shaped including elevator halves. Elevators have counterbalance ends and join to the stab. with nylon hinges with metal pins. Horizontal stab does not have airfoil design but are not totally flat. They are thick at the front and taper thin to the rear. Rudder is built the same way and has the counterbalanced design. Vertical stab. is 11" tall from top of fuselage ( including counterbalance part of rudder). Rudder is 16 " tall and 5" at the widest point and had the thick in front and thin at the rear design. Horizontal and vertical stabs. are epoxy to the fuselage and are not removable.
For the servo that functions the rudder; Single servo mounts inside the fuselage and connects to the rudder with 2 wire cables for a pull-pull type system.
Servos for the elevator halves are located on each side of the fuselage under the horizontal stab. (requires 2)
Wings are removable and attach to the fuselage with removable laminated plywood joiners, pre-cut into a dihedral shape. To install wing at the airfield - Slide formers into fuselage ; slide wing over formers; attach 4 wing nuts inside fuselage; attach the wing support struts with 3 screws on each side and you are done. Wing has flaps and 27 by 3 inch ailerons. The aileron and flap servos mount in the bottom side of the wing.
4 1/2" rubber wheels makes it great for grass strips.
2 piece wings for easy transport.
Comes with complete hardware kit except nitro motor mount.
